Julie Lerendu
Julie Lerendu , a talented and visionary perfume designer, discovered her passion for the world of fragrance at a young age. Spending her childhood in France's Loire Valley amidst the natural aromas, flower gardens, and the scent of wood from stone houses, Lerendu realized that this field was her destiny as soon as she noticed the extraordinary sensitivity of her senses.
At the age of 14, she created her first blend by combining different essences in a workshop. Her instructors noticed her extraordinary olfactory memory and intuitive mixing ability. Motivated by this, she moved to Paris and received professional training in fragrance chemistry and perfume technologies at the renowned ISIPCA (Institut Supérieur International du Parfum).
Following her education, she worked for many prestigious perfume houses in Europe. During her collaborations with brands such as Atelier Oblique, Trudon, Ex Nihilo, Memo Paris, and Maison Francis Kurkdjian, she distinguished herself with her unique understanding of "translating emotion into scent." Julie Lerendu's designs embody warmth, refined elegance, and a lasting poetic quality.
Here are some of the distinguished fragrance creations she has created to date:
-
Bois de Minuit: A dark, alluring composition that brings together the mystical, nocturnal tones of amber, tobacco leaf, and damp cedarwood.
- Rosée Blanche: A clean and serene perfume that blends the freshness of white flowers at dawn with musk.
- Éclat d'Or: A luminous unisex fragrance enriched with mandarin peel, saffron, and golden woods.
- Velours Noir: A sophisticated oriental formula deepened with violet leaf, black tea, and patchouli.
- L'Aube Sauvage: A refreshing yet characterful fragrance blending blueberry, hinoki, and ocean accords.
Julie Lerendu believes that every perfume carries a story. For her, scent is the most artistic way to revive a memory or a hidden emotion. Today, in her own workshop, she designs limited collection pieces and creates bespoke formulas for international brands.
