Marc Zini, born into a family of Italian descent, grew up in Grasse, France, where his interest in fragrances developed while wandering through flower fields.

After receiving an accounting education, he began working at the Charabot laboratory in 1977 and spent two years learning the fundamentals of perfumery at the Charabot School of Perfumery.

Since 1993, his travels in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman) have given him expertise in the region's raw materials.

She later joined Robertet company and became a mentor to perfumery students.
